TEMPE CONDOS NEAR ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY

Tempe, Arizona is an ever evolving city and home to Arizona State University, the biggest university in the country. Once known for Hayden’s Ferry, which gave old-timers a ride across the flooded Salt River, it is now known for Tempe Town Lake. The new lake, along with the glittering hi-rises that dot its shore, are like a mirage in the desert. Fortunately this is no mirage. You can live on the lake shore in Tempe!

During the day, Tempe Town Lake is used by boaters, kayakers and paddle boarders. Sun Devil Stadium is nearby. Tempe has so much to offer condo dwellers and at the top of the list is the location, near to all the transportation systems from shoreline lighted walkways to the 101 freeway that provides direct access to Phoenix and Sky Harbor Airport. Bus and light rail service is widely available. Scottsdale is just to the North.

SCOTTSDALE CONDOS, LOFTS & PENTHOUSES

Once known as the West’s most Western town, Scottsdale has transformed itself into a playground for the rich and famous. Now, many well-known celebrities and athletes live in the plethora of high-end stylish condominium projects.

Many homeowners and renters in Scottsdale choose to live in the Downtown Scottsdale area, otherwise known as Old Town Scottsdale. We could bore you with details about the boundaries, but the main thing you need to know is that this is a very active area full of restaurants, clubs and on the weekend, dozens of street legal golf carts taking tourist and locals alike from venue to venue.

If you want a condo that is at the center of a lot of activity and don’t mind some extra noise on the weekends, then Old Town Scottsdale might be a fun choice. The new Envy Residences condos are located in the heart of the activity. Optima Camelview Village is also very popular and features hanging gardens. For those who prefer golf, or being pampered at a resort spa, there are many options including the booming Kierland Commons area which is located at the border of Phoenix and Scottsdale. Across the street, to the East, is the Scottsdale Quarter. This neighborhood is loaded with restaurants and many fine shopping stores including the Scottsdale Apple store.

North Scottsdale offers the desert experience that many are seeking including saguaro cacti that survived the old-time cowboys shooting their arms off. Many fine resorts and condos can be found in North Scottsdale, most with golf.

Perhaps more than any other city near Phoenix, Mesa, Arizona offers one the largest varieties of condos available. As Mesa is an older city, the inventory of condos ranges from very affordable to more expensive, and newer, condos located near the elegance and natural beauty of the High Desert in Northeast Mesa.
